IT'S TOTALLY EASY!

We ride every year from March to November. Over the winter, the bikes are repaired and having a rest. Follow us on FB, to have always fresh news about the start and end of the season.

The entire system operates exclusively via the internet on these our website. Without stands, payment kiosks or distribution points.

Sign up and after logging on to verify your identity or pay refundable deposit of 1.500, - CZK. Choose one of the tariffs (40 CZK/day, 130 CZK/month, or CZK 600/year).

After payment and authentication, log in and you will be able to see a map with available bikes.
If you do not have your phone/tablet with an Internet connection, you can seek, borrow and return the bike through SMS.

SMS works



For borrowing, returning and searching available bikes through SMS is neccessary to be registered in a conventional manner, have your ID verified or have made the refundable security deposit and have purchased the fare, which is valid on the day when you want to rent a bike. Everything is done through our website.

The phone number for SMS communication is +420 725 800 828.

Find the nearest lamppost on the street. On each lamppost there is a plate with a number. Send a SMS to a phone number in the form "find12345" where 12345 is the number of the lamppost. The system would return a message with the address of two nearest available bikes.

Find the bike and send a SMS in the form "borrowABCDEFGHI", Where ABCDEFGHI is a nine-digit code printed on the post under the seat of the bike that you want to borrow.
The system returns a message with a 4-digit code to the lock. Attention! You must not forget the code, because you can not look into "my loan" section at smartphone application where you can always find the code to a lock of actually borrowed bike.

When you want to return the bike, lock it anywhere on the street, where it not obstruct the traffic and send a message in the form "return12345", where 12345 is the number of the nearest lamppost, where you left the bike. You will receive a confirmation message that the bike was returned.

Conditions

1. MEMBERSHIP

You become a member after you are properly registered on our website www.kolemplzne.cz, and have chosen the appropriate fare and paid for it.

Offered fares:

  • year (600 Kč)
  • month (130 Kč)
  • day (40 Kč)

Each fare becomes active immediately after the amount is credited to the account at the GoPay payment gateway. You will be informed about this fact via e-mail. In the case that you pay with the card, we know about your payment basically immediately and your fare is active within minutes. Even so, you are informed by e-mail. The price of individual tariffs are published on www.kolemplzne.cz.

Monthly fare can be ordered for several months at a time, just choose the period for which the fare will be applied.

Each member is required to verify his/her identity or make a security deposit. We have to protect us against fake users within the network. The identity is verified by photo or scan of both sides of the identity card (OP, passport). Photo of a identity card can also be taken by a mobile phone. It is important to ensure the readability of acquired scan or photo. The data in each user profile is compared with the delivered scan / photo and identification card and the user is then authorized to enter the system. You will be informed about this fact by e-mail that you provided during registration.

In the case that for any reason you do not want to verify your identity, we respect your privacy. But because of that you will be asked to make a security deposit for completing your registration. The amount of security deposit is published on www.kolemplzne.cz. After a year of trouble-free operation can be part of your security deposit used to pay for another fare acording your choice. In case you decide to terminate our cooperation, you can make a request for refunding the security deposit through www.kolemplzne.cz. We will send it back to a specified account number within three working days.

2. BORROWING AND RETURNING BIKES

It is totally simple. After your registration and fare is active you can borrow any available bike. You can search the application map for available bikes, for borrowing fill in the 9-digit code printed on the post under the seat of the bike that you want to borrow and the application will show you the 4-digit code to the lock of the bike. Unlock the bike and ride.

The application also offers to report the failure if the bike is damaged. Please report the failures and do not ride damaged bike, do not expose yourself to the risk of injuries or obligation to pay for the damages. It is also a failure if the bike is not physically on the indicated place.

You can use the bike as long as you need but please think of other users too. After one hour of using the bike you will be ask through SMS to return the bike. Each person can borrow only one bike in one moment. The best way is to borrow the bike for the ride you need to make, then return it, and then borrow another. Number of borrowings per day is not limited. You can make a 1000 of it.

The maximum borrowing period is 6 hours. If you repeatedly borrow a bike for more than 6 hours, you are abusing our system. In this case, the user may be excluded from the system without the right to refund the fare or its part. The service is provided only for the territory of the city of Pilsen. The bike can be borrowed but also needs to be returned on the territory of one of the city districts. Leaving bikes outside the territory of the city is also considered a harsh violation of user conditions.

By exclusion from the system the entitlement to a refund of the security deposit does not expire, if other conditions are not violated. At each violation we will notify the user. If the violation of conditions is continuous, e.g. user leaves the bike in unsuitable places where obstruct, borrows a bike for longer than the maximum time period or causes other damage, we can also, after previous warning, exclude the user without the right to refund the fare or its part. Entitlement to payment of damages caused by the user, can be charged against the safety deposit.

When returning the bike, lock it in a place and position in which does not interfere or violate traffic regulations. The best choice is to use public bike stands. Then to complete the return, mark and confirm the place where the bike is locked in the application map.

4. FAILURE REPORTING AND A SERVICE

If a bike is damaged or not in place, please, report it to us as soon as possible, at the latest upon his return. If the bike is completely inoperable, report the defect and borrow other nearest bike. The duty of every user is to report defects in a timely manner.

Our serviceman is checking bikes daily and repairs defects and solves other problems. Each bike is regularly serviced. We do not want you to be forced ride old or damaged bikes. Help us out with that by the timely reporting of defects.

5. MATERIAL RESPONSABILITY

You rent a bike at your own risk. The service provider is not liable for damage caused by improper handling or damage arising from breach of these terms, in particular of the obligation to report a defect on the bike and borrowing a damaged bike. Everyone is obliged to closely inspect the bike before setting out on a journey. Everyone is obliged to check the operability of brakes, front and rear lights, rear derailleur mechanism and pedal boats and chain. In case of any problem it should be reported and another bike borrowed. Do not ride on any inoperable bike!

If you use damaged bike, and it will become completely irreparable, we are entitled to demand reimbursement after the damages that can equal the price of a new bike.

5. LEGAL STUFF

By registration, which is confirmed from our side including user authentication upon verification of identity or providing a security deposit, and payment of chosen fare, the user closed framework agreement for the loan of bike with the system operator, under those conditions. Contractual relations are governed by §2193 et seq. a. 89/2012 Coll. Civil Code.

Members of the system can use the bikes within the validity of their fares without any additional charge.

5. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

User agrees upon its registration at www.kolemplzne.cz with the processing of their personal data within the meaning of the Act. 101/2001 Coll. Provider is responsible for handling personal data within the meaning of the Act. The service provider is not entitled to disclose personal data of users to third parties.
